A list of my favourite greens and their Benefits

Adding more vegetables to my diet is really easy because Im naturally a veggie lover. I really wanted to share this blog with you In case you’re looking to add more vegetables to your diet or just tired of your own rotation. I’ve compiled a list of my favourite green veggies and their benefits. I hope you will try a veggie you haven’t tried or re add some that you haven’t eaten in a while.

Vegetables and their nutritional benefits                                                                 

  • Argula: Calcium, Potassium, Folate, Vitamin C and K          
  • Romaine Lettuce: Calcium, Phosphorus, Vitamin A, C and K  and Folate
  • Spinach: Potassium, Magnesium, Vitamin B-6, B-9, E,C,K, Folic acid and Iron
  • Green Cabbage: Magnesium,Calcium, Iron, Potassium, and Vitamin B6,C,D
  • Celery: Vitamin A,C,K, Potassium and Folate          
  • Broccoli: Fibre, Vitamin C, K, Iron and Potassium
  • Brussel sprouts: Vitamin B-6, Potassium and Iron
  • Asparagus: Vitamin A, B-6, Potassium, Fibre, Thiamine and Folic acid
  • Zucchini: Thiamine, Magnesium, Phosphorus,Fibre and Vitamin C
