My Favourite Natural facial oils

Facial Oils do not make your skin more oily! Certain oils can be beneficial for you’re skin type and or concern.

Facial oils

My favourite Natural Facial oils and why they should be included in you skin care Routine.

For a long while I’ve debated, went back and forward about adding facial oils to my skin care routine. I thought to myself “oh god not another step” I literally don’t have the time with 3 kids and a 20 minute shower and then adding another step to what seemed to feel like a lot already. More and more as I did my due diligence in learning about the benefits of oils and the oils I heard buzzing in the skin world, I realized that adding oils will only benefit my skin.

Every product I love and Share, trust me Ive researched it, gotten samples, tried and bought it. If I mention it without getting paid it’s because I truly love it. I think a lot of ladies and gents thought adding oils too their routine would make them more oiler but that’s not the case. Oils normally stay topical and does not penetrate the inner layers of the skin. The perfect time to use your oils is after your moisturizer before bed so no one will see you shining bright. As we’ve heard our skin or sebum which is just below the skin goes through a cycle of change. From midday to evening our sebum secretion is at it lowest and that’s why I recommend using oils at night because from evening to during sleep hours our secretion is at its lowest of lows.

Im sharing my personal favourites in No particular order.

Facial oils

Josie Maran Argan Milk- This was the first oil/ face milk I tried. Last winter was extremely cold and my skin had small dry patches so I decided to add an oil. I saw a few people recommending this product so researched the company and loved the owner Josie’s love for clean beauty in all its natural form. It made no sense for me to add an oil that wasn’t 100% clean and good for my skin. Its great for intense hydration its all natural and is

Next was actually the second oil I tried which is the Rose oil from Toronto which exited me because it’s a fellow Canadian brand. At first when I tried this oil I was having a bit of a hormonal breakout so I could not see it’s true benefits. I put it down for a bit and then when my skin cleared up I gave it another try, and I instantly liked how nurturing it felt on my skin and how much it smells like natural oil. This oil is packed with

  • Rosehip Seed Oil
  • Pomegranate Seed Oil
  • Jojoba Seed Oil

Facial oils

The Juno Oil by Sunday Riley is a power oil! this oil is an antioxidant + superfood facial oil. After hearing about Sunday Riley and trying the Good Genes serum which is a whole other topic coming soon, I knew this oil was going to do wonders hence why I got the Large bottle right away. If you find your face dehydrated and lacking moisture, this oil will instantly hydrate and leave your skin with a glowy, dewy feel in minutes.

Another one of my favourites and new to my skin care products is Skin Dope By Josie Maran is actually dope (pun intended). This is oil a mix of 50% Argan oil and 50% hemp seed oil + super omega 3,6,9. I through using many of Josies Products I’ve discovered that Argan oil does wonders for my face. I use this oil right after my moisturizer with is the whipped Argan butter, I apply 2 drops to my finger tips warm it up a press it into my skin and I wake up with clear, dewy, hydrated skin. This oil is perfect for me in my stage of life I’ll be 30 in a few months, I have 3 kids, work, and blog so my face is starting to show signs of fine lines and fatigue. Some of this oils benefits are

  • Help to defend against fist signs of aging (thin lines )
  • dryness
  • Lack of elasticity
  • Lack of glow
  • A bit of dullness

Last but not least is the 100% pure Argan oil by Josie Maran. I love this oil because its so versatile and can be used anywhere. I love this oil on my hands after washing dishes or after a fresh manicure. I also use this oil in my hair and on my body where it gets really dry like elbows, knees and the heels of my feet. I love the fact that there isn’t a harsh scent and smells light and fresh.

  • 100% pure Argan oil
